Imidacloprid is an ectoparasiticide from the chloronicotinyl group. It kills adult fleas and larval stages. It spreads rapidly over the skin within the first day. Moxidectin is a milbemycin macrocyclic lactone. It acts against internal and external parasites, including larval stages L3 and L4 of Dirofilaria immitis and gastrointestinal nematodes. It is absorbed through the skin and reaches peak plasma concentrations in 4 to 9 days in dogs.
The product treats infections by Toxocara canis, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxascaris leonina, and Trichuris vulpis. It also treats Angiostrongylus vasorum and Crenosoma vulpis infections. It provides strategic treatment for flea allergy dermatitis.
Each pipette contains 10% imidacloprid and 2.5% moxidectin. Also contains butylhydroxytoluene.
